Tholly

I've scoured the earth for anything on this man called "Tholly". He was grandpa Barnes' brother though there is nothing that states that in the lists of siblings that I've seen other than what I've given to Find a Grave. However I did find a Hickman Barnes in connection with a Bartholomew at the website below. I've determined that like so often I have found to be the case that Tholly went by a nic name/ given name being Bartholomew. His father went by his middle name instead of Lewis his first name...

Tholly's story is rather sad to me in that it seems his identity is rather unknown by record and the story is that he was somewhat a drifter and mentally challenged. He was sixteen when his father died and stayed with his brother Mack and sister in law Willie part time who cared for his bedridden mother for nine years. He lost his mother when he was eighteen.
