Thomas Blossom and wife Ann Elsden had five known children b. either in England or Holland:

• iv. Thomas Blossom, Jr., b. circa 1623 in Leiden, Holland, d. Apr. 22, 1650 by drowning off the coast of Cape Cod at Eastham, Mass.; m. June 18, 1645 in Barnstable, Mass., Sarah Ewer, dau. of Thomas Ewer and Sarah Learned, bapt. May 10, 1629 at Stood in Kent, England. They had one child, dau. Sarah.

Sarah Blossom was born about 1650. She was the daughter of Thomas Blossom and Sarah Ewer.[1] The work of Frederick Freeman in 1862 said, "The former, Thomas [Blossom], b. in Leyden, m. Sarah Ewer dr. Thos. deceased, June 18, 1645. He left a dr. Sarah, and, it is thought a posthumous son Peter."[1]

1629 -- Thomas Blossom, Sr., Ann Blossom, son Thomas Blossom, Jr., and daughter Elizabeth Blossom emigrated from Leiden, South Holland, United Provinces of the Netherlands to Plymouth Colony probably on the second ship to be named "Mayflower." [1]

June 18, 1645 -- Thomas Blossom, Jr. and Sarah Ewer married at Barnstable, Barnstable county, Plymouth Colony (later Massachusetts) "with Edmond Freeman performing the ceremony [as] noted by Rev. John Lothrop (NEHGR 9:286)." [2] [3]

April 22, 1650 -- Thomas Blossom, Jr. of Barnstable and Samuel Hallet drowned at Nauset. [4] "Thomas Blossome and Samuell Hollet drowned att the Harbour of Nocett att their first Setting out from thence aboute a fishing voyage. Aprill 22, 1650." [5]
