1850 US CENSUS, Simpson County, Mississippi: Thomas T. Everett Jr, 27,a farmer, B- Mississippi wife Latentia, 30, B- South Carolina son Thomas R, 4, B-MS son John W., 3, B-MS son Isham, 1, B-MS ---------------------------------------------
SR - Thomas T. Everett bought land patents in Simpson County, MS on 12-10-1840. They were in the Choctaw area. They were located in section 10, 17, and 3.
JR - Thomas Everett, his wife and three sons were listed in the 1850 US Census as living in Simpson County, Mississippi. Thomas was 27 years old, born in Mississippi, a farmer whose property was worth $180.00.
The Rankin County Cemetery records for Zion Hill Cemetery show that Thomas "Tom" Everett is buried in the cemetery in an unmarked grave. (NOTE: This may be SR and most likely that JR was buried in Braxton.)

The 1830 US Census in Simpson County states that Thomas T. Everett aged between 50-60 had two sons aged between 5-10.

Per JOHN EVERETT - "HOUSE OF EVERETT" 2001 -- Thomas J. Everett's son TOM EVERETT, married and settled in Braxton, MS. Four children -- ISOM EVERETT, married Sallie Van Zandt. Their chidren were Green, Tom, Jack, Joe Mollie, Cora, Phenie, and Leffie. JOHN EVERETT RILEY EVERETT, children were Ernest, Lucy, Viola, Leffie, Bob, and Ida. SALLIE EVERETT, married Henry Hemphill, children were Will and Hattie.
