About Thomas Nichols
On April 3, 1692, he received from his father-in-law, James Reynolds, the deed for a slave, named Elizabeth, if said slave be alive at decease of grantor.
Thomas Nichols was born to Thomas Llandaff Nichols and his wife Hannah Griffin in Rhode Island in 1660. Thomas met and married Mercy Reynolds in Rhode Island in 1682. They produced 15 children. Little is known of Thomas' death, which occurred in 1745 in East Greenwich, Rhode Island.
