April 1740-October 1742 first mate on the Company ship Stockholm on a journey to Canton.
January 1745 Co-Captain on the Company ship Stockholm which was shipwrecked off the Shetland coast on 12 January.
January 1746-June 1747 Second captain on the Company ship Kronprinsessan Lovisa Ulrica on a journey to Canton.
June 1748 acquired the Åkarp and Susekull estates in the County of Blekinge (near Karlshamn).
1750 Captain (and part owner) of Karlshamn's biggest ship Carlshamns Wärf.
8 April 1766 admitted to the Royal Hospital at Greenwich in London as an in-pensioner (aged 74). By this time he was a widower.
30 September 1777 died at the Royal Hospital and buried the same day.
