• (marriage) St James, Birdham 21 Feb 1660 Penne, Thomas to Bignall, Clemence (2nd wife?)
• (baptism) St James, Birdham 17 Nov 1661 Penne, Sara, father Thomas, mother Clemence

Records are annoyingly sketchy, and it's hard to tell who is related to whom.

Thomas and Joane had:

• Marie Penne, bapt. 03 Jan 1644 (Gregorian)
• Thomas Penne, bapt 3 Oct 1647
• Joseph Pen, bapt. 07 Aug 1650
• Samuel Penne, bapt. 02 Oct 1653

Unless they practiced post-infant baptism, or converted back to C of E from e.g. Puritanism, Thomas of Thomas and Joane is too young to have been Sara's father. He may have been a half-brother - it may be significant that Sara is the only recorded child of Thomas and Clemence.
