'According to the William Strother Society, Thomas B (probably Bartlett) Strother was born in Fauquier Co. VA. He purchased land in Harrison Co. VA in 1810 and was living there in 1820 and 1830. Thomas died in 1855 in MO and his wife moved back to Harrison County.
