Thomas Taylor b. 18 Feb 1594 baptized 9 Oct 1594 at Parish Church, Great Budworth, Cheshire, England. He resided at Clatterwick, Cheshire, England. bur. 1 Feb 1669/70 at Great Budworth, Cheshire, England.

Parents: 2nd child and son of John Taylor (b. ca 1550-d. betw 1625-1627), husbandman, of Great Budworth and his 2nd wife Ellen Massey (m. 1586).

Married: 21 Sep 1630 at Whitegate, England; lic; to Mary Barrow. She resided at Davenham, England.

Known children of Thomas Taylor and Mary Barrow were as follows:

• Robert Taylor, bap. 15 Dec 1633 at parish church, Great Budworth, Cheshire, England; m. Mary Hayes.
• Mary Taylor; baptized 27 May 1638 at parish church, Great Budworth, Cheshire, England.
• Thomas Taylor; baptized 13 Jun 1641 at parish church, Great Budworth, Cheshire, England; bur. 31 Jul 1647.
• Richard Taylor; baptized 29 Oct 1643 at parish church, Great Budworth, Cheshire, England.
• John Taylor; baptized 12 Jan 1644/45 at parish church, Great Budworth, Cheshire, England; bur. 3 Aug. 1660.
• Thomas Taylor; b. circa 1649; m. Hannah Marbury 26 Apr 1675; d. 27 May 1708.

Another source has year as 1593.. Thomas was in Little Leigh during the early 1600s so he must have been somehow involved with the Holly Bush Inn that has been operating since around 1500s. Perhaps he had friends stay there or shared a meal and a tankard in the pub. The pub has recently been refurbished resulting in the contrast of a traditional thatched roof and Wi-Fi connections in the 13 luxuriant bed rooms.
