SAG is wrong regarding the 2nd marriage. There is confusion with Thomas Bowman Venn. Both died in 1857, both on the 22nd of the month, but in different months, 5 months apart. The warning is already included in the curator note, nevertheless the man in this profile is indicated to as having been married to Maria Hester Paulsen too. Thomas died on 22 Feb 1857 and his DN is signed by Johanna Brandt. That of Thomas Bowman is signed by Maria Paulsen. The only way that Maria Paulsen could also be married to Thomas without the second name, is if she was married to him before Brandt and divorced. There is no indication of that, divorces were also not custom.
