Biography

Thomas Wayt (per headstone) or Waite, Wait, was born March 3, 1641 at Watertown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts to Richard and Mary Mills Waite. He married Sarah Cutler in 1673 at Watertown and their children were: Richard, Phebe, Thomas, John, Joseph, Sarah, Mary, Richard (again) and Abigail. Thomas, the father, died January 3, 1722, aged 80, at Lexington, Middlesex County, Massachusetts and is buried in the Old Burying Ground at Lexington.
