Found in Isle of Wight Deed Book it was recorded that both Thomas and George Wright acquired land grants of 50 acres in 1683. In Deed Book 1: "Whereas controversies between George Wright and Thomas Wright have arisen over their share of land where they now dwell, have chosen James Benn and John Giles to arbitrate. 25 jan. 1692-93."[3]
