Torwell Martinius Undem

The funeral for Torwell M. Undem, 96, Rogers was Wednesday in Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Valley City. He died Saturday, October 29, 1988.

Mr. Undem was born July 30, 1892 in Valley City, where he attended school. In 1903 he moved with his family to Rogers. He married Ruth Wakefield August 24, 1914, in Valley City. They farmed near Rogers. She died in 1956.

He is survived by six sons, Roy, Aberdeen, WA; Ralph, Vevay, IN; and Freemon, Earl, Harold and Duane, all Rogers; a daughter, Laura (Mrs. Gregory) Dreis, Mukilteo, WA; 36 grandchildren and 56 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
