Slonovic Civja
Civja Slonovic was born in Kaunas in 1892 to Rivka. She was a housewife and married to Leib. Prior to WWII she lived in Radun, Poland. During the war she was in Radun, Poland. Civja perished in 1942 in Radun, Poland. This information is based on a Page of Testimony (displayed on left) submitted by her daughter.
She had two childen; Mania and Bella. Mania, married the grandson of the Chofetz Chaim, Abraham Kagan. On Jewishgen, I see that Mania's maiden name was Cohen. I do not know if this was true. The second daughter was Bella. Bella had two husbands: the first, a Rabbi Kamenetsky was killed at the beginning of the war. With her first husband she had one child: Rivka (after the great grandmother, ). During the war, Bella and her daughter Rivka lived in the forest with partisans. After the war, she met a Tuvia Sosensky, whom she later married, and they had had a daughter Ariella
