

Ulick John de Burgh, 1st Marquess of Clanricarde KP PC (20 December 1802 - 10 April 1874) was a British Whig politician.
He married Harriet Canning (13 April 1804-8 January 1876), the daughter of George Canning, former Prime Minister and Foreign Secretary, on 4 April 1825 at Gloucester Lodge in Brompton. The couple had seven children;
On the death of the 2nd Marquess of Clanricarde all his titles became extinct except for the Earldom of Clanricarde created in 1800, which under the terms of the special remainder contained in the Letters Patent creating the title passed to his cousin once removed George Ulick [Browne], 6th Marquess of Sligo, as the next heir of the 1st Earl of Clanricarde of this creation, passing over his five sisters and their descendants.
