William Thomas Harrington, 95 passed away about eleven o'clock Thursday night at his home at Harmony. Born February 17, 1853, he came to Texas from Virginia when only a youth. He walked through Tennessee and Arkansas, stopping to live first at McKinney, Texas. Later he went to Decatur, and Denton County, but after staying there a short time, he moved to Weatherford and had lived here since that time. He was married to Elizabeth Bull, who passed away about forty years ago.

Survivors are two daughters, Miss Lula Harrington, at home and Mrs. C.M. Winstead, south of Weatherford.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at two o'clock at Cotten-Bratton Funeral Chapel, Interment will be at Harmony Cemetery. (The Daily Herald - January 14, 1949)
