PFC US ARMY WW II OBITUARY Vernon Bacorn, age 88. He died Thursday, Jan 29,2009. at home. He lived at RD#2, Overton , New Albany Twp, Bradford Co, Pa. He was the son of Floyd Parker Bacorn and Julia Elizabeth Chapman Bacorn. Vernon was born at Camp Brule,Elkland Twp, Sullivan Co, Pa. Vernon served for 3 years at Kiessler Air Force Base at Biloxi, Mississippi.and 1 year in the Infantry (Army)at Camp Livingston, Germany. He was Honorably discharged in December 1945.
