Veston L. Hayes
Mr. Veston L. Hayes, 73 of Adel died at his residence after a short illness.
He was born on Oct. 27, 1931, in Cook County to the late Robert Slaten and Julia Savilla DeLoach Hayes. He lived in Cook County all of his life. He was a retired welder, production anodizing and member of Greggs Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife Jeanette Rentz Hayes.
He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Wade and Pam Hayes of Adel, Dennis and Julia Hayes of Lake Park; nine grandchildren; and one sister, Vivian Lasseter of Adel.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Rice officiating. Burial will be held in Forrest Hill Church Cemetery.
