Vieno Sylvia Hakamäki

Mrs Vieno Hakamaki aged 69 years of R.R.1 Nolalu passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday March 24, 1981 in hospital. Born at Sellers, Ontario, a life time resident of this district. her home and family were her main interests. She had celebrated her 50th Wedding Anniversary in December 1979. Survived by; her husband Frans; 3 daughters, Elna, Mrs. W. Mitchell of R.R.1 South Gillies, Mrs. Helvi O'Hare of 322 Conyers Street, Milja, Mrs. Germaine Larocque of Manville, Alberta; one son Albert of R.R.1 Nolalu; 21 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; four brothers, Emil of Vancouver, Toivo, Arvo and Sulo all of this district; five sisters, Tynne Erickson, Ina Parker, Mae Nelson, Velma Maa all of Thunder Bay and Millie Gaudreau of B.C.; nieces, nephews and other relatives survive. Predeceased by her parents, one brother Eino, three sisters, Souma, Toini, and Floreen, one son Aarne in 1974, one grandson Darcy Ojala in 1971 and a grand daughter Denise Ojala in 1955.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in the Everest Funeral Chapel with Rev. John Grande officiating. Interment in Leeper Cemetery.
