Virgie Mae Terry, age 97, of Sweetwater, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2003. She was a member of the Fairview Baptist Tabernacle Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Carl Terry; son, Leland Dale Terry, Sr.; parents, Thomas and Sally Richesin; grandchildren, Lisa Marie and Carol Ann Terry. Survivors include: daughter, Shirley Steigerwald of Michigan; daughter-in-law; Mai Terry Cornell of Michigan; granchildren and spouses, Dale and Geri Terry of Texas, Connie and Charlie Crawford of Sweetwater, Jessie and Toni Terry of Ohio, Wanda and Jeff Ferguson of Ohio, Cherrie Steigerwald, Terry and Lisa Steigerwald, Kenny and Gwen Steigerwald all of Michigan; great-grandchildren, John, Katie, Ava, Tabitha, Hannah, Shelby, Michelle. The body is at Kyker Funeral Home, Sweetwater, where the family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral service to follow in Kyker's Chapel with Dr. Gerald Atkins officiating. Kyker Funeral Home of Sweetwater in charge of arrangements.
