Virginia "Virl" Bratton Mullinax (September 20, 1915 - March 1, 2010)

Virginia "Virl" Mullinax Gaffney, SC - - Virginia "Virl" Bratton Mullinax, 94, formerly of 2336 Wilkinsville Highway, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 1, 2010 at Brookview Healthcare. Born in Gaffney, she was the wife of the late Willie Mullinax and the daughter of the late Walter Bedford Bratton and Eunice Millwood Bratton. She was retired from the textiles industry and loved gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Mullinax was a member of Central Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Ginger Borders of Gaffney; three grandchildren, Ginger Bailes and husband, Wesley of Fort Mill, SC, Robin Spurlin and husband, James of Gaffney and Kathy Lambright and husband, Bill of Gaffney; seven great-grandchildren, Deanna Spurlin of Gaffney, Brittany Bailes, Nicole Bailes, Samantha Bailes, Kristen Bailes, Wesley Bailes, Jr and Charlie Bailes, all of Fort Mill, SC; one step-grandchild, Jimmy Spurlin. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Ward Bratton, Lamar Bratton and Lewis Poole and two sisters, Ella Reynolds and Bonnie Lois Bratton.
