About Vitkah Vilenken
Mentioned in Chayei Adam, 155:41. In 1764 a great fire broke out in R' Avraham Danzig's courtyard, and thirty one people were killed. None of R' Danzig's family were killed, although one of his sons had his back pierced twice by shrapnel, his wife's face was bruised, her lip cut up, and many teeth knocked out, and his daughter Vitkeh -- the only one mentioned by name -- was miraculously saved from near death: "And a wall fell on my daughter Vitkeh, until there was but a step between her and death (paraphrasing Shmuel Alef, 20:3)."
