Walter Eichenwald, 79, southwest Kansas City, died Nov. 29, 1991, at Menorah Medical Center. He was born in Germany and lived in Petersburg, Va., before moving to Kansas City in 1942.
Mr. Eichenwald was a manufacturer's representative for the Biltwell Manufacturing Co. for 32 years; he retired in 1980. He was past president of the Heart of America Men's Apparel Club. He was a member of Beth Shalom Synagogue and B'nai B'rith. Survivors include his wife, Mildred K. Eichenwald of the home; a son, Howard Eichenwald, Overland Park; a half brother, Ernest Schild, Cincinnati; and two granddaughters.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Louis Chapel; burial in Mount Carmel Cemetery. The family requests no flowers and suggests contributions to charity.
