Rev. Walter Hartman, formerly of Rockingham County, died at his home in Annville, Penna., Sunday at 12:10 p.m. He had been ill for the past three weeks. Mr. Hartman would have been 56 years of age the first of April. For the past 27 years he has been a minister in the Church of the Brethren. In 1907 he married Miss Elsie Wampler, who preceded him in death 19 years ago. Surviving is his second wife, who was formally Miss Anna Minnick, of Annville, and the following children: Russell, Galen, Alma and Jodie Hartman all of near Annville. Four brothers survive: John, Ben, Saylor, and Joe Hartman of near Palmyra, Penna. and two sisters, Miss Florence Hartman, of Washington and Mrs. Laura Coffman of Annville.
