Walther III.  Of Arnstein (* around 1150; † around 1196) was Lord of Arnstein and Barby of Barby .  The Count of Lindow-Ruppin and the Counts of Barby are from him. 

His parents were Walter II von Arnstein and Ermengard von Plötzkau . 

Walther married Gertrud von Ballenstedt.  Gertrude was the daughter of Adalbert III.  From Ballenstedt (a son of Albrecht's bear and his wife Sophie von Winzenburg ) and Adalbert's wife Adelheid (also called Adela) (the widow of Sven III (Denmark) ).  [1] 

Walther and Gertrud had the following children:
