Walter Sylvester Dipley

Was involved with a girl named Goldie Smith who was an accomplice in the murder of middleweight boxing champion Stanley Ketchel. The jury was convinced that it was premeditated after his accused assault on Goldie. Goldie recieved 17 months in state penitentiary. She was released after an appeal to the supreme court as having no actual play in the shooting. After serving 23 years in prison, Walter Dipley died of kidney disease and is buried in an unmarked grave in Toquerville, Utah Cemetery.
