About Walter Hall Webb
Walter was the manager of a creamery in Dunedin when he married.
They moved to Tinakori Rd, Wellington where they had a store in Lambton Quay. They were in Wellington when it was hit by the influenza epidemic around 1918. Elsie was one of the lucky few who caught influenza and survived. They farmed at Tokomaru until the depression c 1935 when they moved off the farm and lived in their holiday home at Waikanae.
