About Wansley Baker, I

served in the Revolutionary War. Denied a pension because of short length of service. Wamsley stood guard at a military jail in Fredericksburg . He also served as a fifer. It is likely that he did these things while a teenager. He says in his application that he was born in 1762 in Frederick Co, Maryland
