John Bellamy Ltd:

Bellamy's iron-tank works were set up in 1860 by John Bellamy, son of Edward Bellamy of the firm Burney & Bellamy which had riverside premises nearby. At first water tanks were made, but over the years a wide range of other products was developed, including bouys, industrial plant such as water-softening systems, bulk haulage tanks and underground petrol tanks. The company was incorporated as John Bellamy Ltd in 1900. The works, mostly covered with sheds of various dates, nearly became defunct in the inter-war slump, but improvements and modernisation, including the erection of new buildings took place in the late 1930s.
