Gunda Theodora Molstad was born June 15, 1878, in Lac qui Parle County to Arne and Karen Lund.

She was one of six girls and two boys.

She was baptized, confirmed and married in the Norwegian language, and has been an active member of the Bergen Lutheran Church.

On June 11, 1897, she was united in marriage to Erick Molstad in the Bergen Church. She enjoyed the pleasure of a double wedding with her oldest sister, Mary Maren, who married Halvor O. Iverson.

Gunda and Erick built a farm home in Lisbon Township and spent happy years together.

Due to Erick's ill health, they built a home in Clarkfield in 1925. He passed away July 4, 1935.

In 1940, Gunda sold her farm and moved to Clarkfield to make her permanent home. On November 17, 1969, she sold her home and became a resident of the Clarkfield Care Center where she resided at the time of her death. She was happy and contented at the Care Center.

Gunda passed away January 22, 1971, at the Clarkfield Community Hospital, at the age of 92 years.

She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Annie Haugen of Northwood, North Dakota, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
