He was married in 1835 in NY to Cynthia Hall Beaumont (1814-1880) who also died near Ridgeway. They lived in NY in 1850, but were in Wisconsin census in Arena, Iowa Co., Wis from 1855-1870. They had at least the following children.

1. George H Beaumont b. About 1835, died 3 July 1916 in Arena, Iowa Co., Wis

2. Margaret Teressa Beaumont (Green) Wingad, 1838-1915, buried in Trempealeau Co., Wis

3. Darwin "Harry" 1842-1911, died in Oakland Co. Michigan

4. Don 1843

5. Frederick 1845

6. Martha Beaumont 1846-20 March 1920, Richland Co., Wis

7. William A Beaumont 1853-1909, died in Missoula, Montana, married Annie Cynthia Beaumont and first child Cynthia Viola Beaumont
