The couple had eleven children: Joseph in 1690, John in 1693, Mary in 1695, Ruth in 1698, Ebenezer about 1700, David in 1701, Anne/Ame/Amy in 1706, Comfort about 1707, William about 1708, Triamor about 1709 and Nathan in 1711.
William had a brother Triamor, who remained in England. In Triamor's will, signed in London in 1729, William's children were bequeathed money and property, including a one-fourth share of Marshalsea Prison, which had been made famous in the Charles Dicken's novel, Little Dorrit.
