William Bodill PARKER the beloved husband of Georgina PARKER who departed this life April 26 th 1910 aged 49 years. ‘After life’s fitful fever he sleeps well’. William Bodill Parker was born in Dalston, London,
WW1 Button brass, made by Bodill Parker & Co, and was used to keep the uniforms free from polish whilst the buttons were cleaned with brass cleaner. In 1860 William Bodill established a brass works called William Bodill & Co. in Great Hampton Row which then became Bodill Parker when his nephew William Bodill Parker joined the business in 1882, Later the company reorganized as Bodill Parker (1922) Ltd., Albion Works, 33 & 36, Great Hampton Row, Birmingham. Bodill was in contract with the military to supply badges and other brass items.
