His wife Agnes died on the 4th of February 1552/3 and is buried at All Hallows, Barking by the Tower. Her memorial inscription there states that she was the widow of William Bond and that they had 8 sons and 8 daughters. Her memorial also has several shields containing the arms of Bond, Alphew and Pettit. Bond arms of: Arg. two bends and in chief a cross crosslet (sa.)

William Bond apparently leased some land and a Manor at Thorpe, Surrey from Chertsey Abbey in 1514. This land is then held by a John Bond of Egham & Thorpe, Surrey who is also a Household Servant at the Royal Court but is said to be William Bond's nephew [rather than son]. This John Bond was borne about 1499 and died on the 15th March 1578 and is buried at Thorpe. He was married to Joan Clerk and had a large family with his eldest son being James Bond. The same arms that William used adorn the MI of John Bond so it does look to be the same family.
