Browning Family History by Clint Joyce and Cecil Houk dated February 15, 2000
William Browning was the son of Captain John Browning and Elizabeth Dameron, and the younger brother of George Browning, and the older brother of Joseph Browning. He was born in 1615 in London, Middlesex, England. His wife was born 1619, also in London. They married about 1645 in Jamestown, VA. He immigrated to Virginia with his father and brother George, aboard the Abigail. His son's name was John Browning II and was born in 1646 in Jamestown, James City, Virginia.
Married about 1645 in Jamestown, Virginia, but I don't know his wife's name.
Children were: John BROWNING II.

William Browning was born about 1615 in England, coming to America with his father. He settled in Jamestown, Virginia. He married in Jamestown about 1638. He had at least one son, John Browning, born ca. 1646. He received from his father 250 acres of land, in 1646. He purchased from the crown (George II) 400 acres in Amelia County, Va., on the upper side of the Buffalo River. Came to America with his father in 1622. Settled in Jamestown, VA and married. Received 250 acres of land from his father recorded in 1646. He purchased from the Crown(George the second) 400 acres in Amelia Co VA on upper side of Buffalo River.
