William Boone Callaway

Born September 26, 1807 in Howell's Prairie, St. Charles County, Missouri to James R. Callaway and Nancy (nee Howell).

His father's parents were Flanders and Jemima (nee Boone) Callaway. Jemima was the daughter of Daniel and Rebecca (Bryan) Boone. Jemima was captured along with Elizabeth and Frances, daughters of Colonel Richard Callaway, on July 14, 1776, by an Indian raiding party as they were floating in a canoe on the Kentucky River near Boonesborough, Kentucky. Flanders was one of the rescuing party.

William is brother to Thomas Howell Callaway, Theresa Etaline (Callaway) Snyder, John Callaway Castlio, Fortunatus Boone Castlio, Jasper Newton Castlio, Othaniel Caleb Castlio, Hiram Beverly Castlio, Susan Callaway and Zerelda Emeline Castlio

Married April 12, 1837 to Malinda (nee Silvey) in Saint Charles County, Missouri
