W. H. Campbell's Funeral Arranged
Funeral services for William Hugh Campbell Sr., 81, a Dallas County resident for 63 years, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Lamar & Smith Funeral Chapel 800 West Jefferson.
The Rev. Fred Knight, pastor of the Wheatland Methodist Church, and the Rev. John Poe Henslee, pastor of the Duncanville Methodist Church, will officiate.
Burial will be in the Wheatland Cemetery.
Campbell died Friday at his home in Wheatland after an extended illness.
A native of Alabama, Campbell had been a resident of Wheatland since moving to Texas about 1894.
He was a retired county bridge foreman in the West Oak Cliff district and a member of the Wheatland Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife; a son, W. H. Campbell Jr., Duncanville; five daughters, Mrs. Roy Crone, Mrs. Frank Houston, Mrs. Lee Davis, Mrs. Steve Oswalt, all of Dallas, and Mrs. Tom Houghston, Houston; a brother, James Campbell, Dallas; two sisters, Mrs. Ed Sorrells, Dallas, and Mrs. Mary Malone, Fort Worth; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
