About William Johnson Chew, I
William Johnson Chew , an Englishman. He was the God son of Sir William Johnson. William Chew married Margaret MtPleasant, a Oneida/Tuscarora Indian. He was the Store Keeper at Ft Niagara and Niagara On The Lake from 1798 to 1806. He was killed at Niagara. He had a son Guy Chew who died at Princeton in 1804 at 21 years old. He had a son deacon, interpreter and Turtle clan Chief Sacharissa William Chew .
