Bethia Bassett was named executor of her father's estate in his will dated 12 Jan 1735/6, at Bridgewater.[2]
Bethia married William Coddington of Norton between 12 Jan 1735/6 and 19 Sep 1738. He had previously been married to Elizabeth Jones and apparently by her had a daughter Abigail. William bought land in Norton in 1721.[2]
19 Sep 1738, William and wife Bethia sold the homestead of their father Joseph Bassett of Bridgewater, deceased.[2]
6 Sept 1657, William Coddington of Norton, housewright, and Bethia his wife, and Samuel Phillips of Norton and Lydia his wife, sold two thirds of a lot that had beloged to their father Joseph Basset to Joseph Alger.[2]
William Coddington and wife Bethia, of Norton, acknowledged a deed of sale, dated 13 Dec 1763, of swampland on 21 May 1764. This is the last known record for Bethia.[2]
The couple had no known children.[2]
