About William Covel, II
Biography
Birth
No record has been found of the birth of William Covell. An unsourced FindAGrave memorial says that he was the son of William Covell and Sarah (_____) Covell, born at Monomoy, Massachusetts (later the town of Chatham) about 1703.[1] Given the date of his (probably first) marriage at nearby Eastham in 1734 as "William Covell Jr." and the fact the only other William Covell who appears in the record is a much older man, the birth and parent claims made by the memorial is reasonable. Marriages
William Covell Jr. married the widow Joanna (Strout) Atwood at Eastham, Massachusetts on 27 Jun 1734, [2][3]
William Covell Jr. married Elizabeth Weller at Eastham, Massachusetts, on 16 Feb 1737.[4]
Death
No record has been found of the death or burial of William Covell.
