William Creamer

William Creamer was named as the publisher, in 1887, of a celebratory piano piece for Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee. William Creamer & Company were a firm of furriers of 56 Bold St, Liverpool (and 98 New St, Birmingham) who sponsored and circulated the piece.

His furs can still be found at auctions.

The piece was commisioned by William Creamer and was composed expressly for presentation to the patrons of W. Creamer 98 New St. Birmingham and to celebrate the forty first anniversary of the founding of his establishment Leipzig House
