William Dillard died on 24 Oct 1709 and his death is listed on both the St. Peter's Parish Registry, New Kent and Christ Church Parish Registry, Middlesex.

Name

As Dorothy Dillard Hughes discovered, the last name was originally written in the register as Dellard. When a clerk at St Peter's later recopied the Registry, the e was mistaken as an o - and thus the name Dellard became Dollard in the records.[1]
