Will
The last will and testament of William Douglass dec'd.
In the name of God amen. William Douglass of Franklin Township, Cumberland County, and State of Pennsylvania, being far advanced in years but yet of sound disposing mind and memory do hereby make and ordain this my last will and testament. In the first place I allow my body to be buried in a decent manner at the discretion of my herein named executors. It is my will and I do give and bequeath to my daughter Nancy the sum of Three hundred dollars to be paid out of the first money that may come to hand also the incomes of the place with the clock and stove until the land is sold with every other article commonly called hers all my wearing apparel to Alexander Logan. The remainder of my property both real and personal after the land is sold to be equally divided among my six children or their representatives. Jane, John, Margaret, Nancy, George, and Anne. And I do hereby allow and authorize my after-named executors or the survivor of them at such times as they shall judge most beneficial for the family for to sell my real property to such person or persons as they shall see proper and to convey the same as effectually as I myself might or could have done.
And I do hereby constitute ordain, and appoint my trusty friends Jacob Alter, esq. & Abraham Waggoner executors of this my last will and testament. And I hereby revoke all former wills by me heretofore made, and I do hereby pronounce and declare this my last will and testament. In witness thereof I have hereto set my hand & seal this ninth day of June in the year of our Lord One thousand and eight hundred and thirty.

Will Proving
Be it remembered that on the 14th day of January A. D. One thosand eight hundred and thirty two, the last will and testament of William Douglass late of Frankford township in the county of Cumberland dec'd legally proven and that Letters Testamentary were issued on the 19th day of the same month to Jacob Alter esq & and Abraham Waggoner the executors therein named. Inventory and accounty to be exhibited in the time appointed by Law.
