William E. Faucett was born 2 Aug 1796 in North Carolina, probably in Orange County that is now Alamance County. He married Elizabeth Wallis the daughter of Miles Wallis and Mary "Polly" Freeman (marriage bond dated 5 Oct 1825) in Alamance County and they had 9 children. Elizabeth died 1 July 1860 and William died 17 June 1873. Both are buried near Jordans Creek in Alamance County. Descendants have lived mostly in North Carolina, Texas, with some later generations locating in Arkansas, Florida, Tennessee and elsewhere in the United States.
