The records about William are quite confused. He is of the right age to be his eldest son's (William) father but the lady I have listed (Mary Willy) as his mother is too young. There is a possibility that young William may have a mother called Jane. It appears that William senior had 2 wives but perhaps he had 3. Another possibility is that the 2 Marys are one person and Jane is the first wife. The 3 wife possibility seems a little more likely now. Not many of the children have birth dates but the gap between William Junior and the next (Edith) is about 14 years.
