WILLIAM HAMPTON OBITUARY
William “Bill� Hampton, 68, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away Friday, August 8, 2008. He was born in New York to Rex B. and Louise Bishop Hampton. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, proud father, and beloved husband. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Rex Hampton, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Pat Hampton; two sons: Billy Hampton and Jimmy Hampton; daughter, Linda Nieschwitz and her husband Bruce; three grandchildren: Christy Patrick, Lauren Hampton, and Nikki Graham; three great grandchildren; brother, Charles Hampton. The family would like to thank the staff at Doctors Regional Hospital. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday, August 11, 2008 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Lung Association.
