It isn't enough to say "the Virginia Harrisons," as there was more than one family. You have not said WHAT COUNTY in Virginia? However, if you are referring to Hannah Harrison who married John Taylor abt 1726 prob. in Richmond Co., VA, then she was daughter of James and his wife Mary (believed to be Mary Bragg), and sister of my ancestor William Harrison who went from VA to Fairfield Co., SC in mid 1700s, apparently from Fairfax Co., VA where he and widowed mother went with other relatives (or were living there when county lines changed?). James Harrison died 1726 according to N. Farnham Parish Registry in Richmond Co., VA. James was listed as a son of George Harrison on his Westmoreland Co. will, which named several sons and specified that each could only sell the land left to him to a brother or brothers. James sold his land in Westmoreland Co. to his brother William. His brother William subsequently had land in Fairfax and Stafford Cos., perhaps because it fell in Stafford after that was organized out of Westmoreland in mid 1700s. Have recently spent several days in Library of VA in Richmond (the city is NOT in Richmond Co.) and have copy and transcription of this web page. Penny Woodford of Richmond descends from your Hannah and John and is knowledgeable of it; also I got a good Gedcom from Rootsweb.com on the family of George Harrison (ca 1650-1713) and his wife Elizabeth Duncan, dau. of Peter Duncan who d. 1696 in Westmoreland Co. For more on William Harrison my ancestor's family, check out my web page http://OurTexasFamily.com. I haven't yet posted the new stuff from this research trip." [1] [dead link]
