William H. Humphrey

William's listed birth on his headstone is a little suspicious. He was first found in the 1860 census in Ironton, WI. He was living with his parents and 4 siblings and listed as 14, making his birth about 1846. Sadly his dad, George, died 4 years later as well as two other siblings of Typhoid Fever. William was found in the 1900 census, living in Gray, SD and listed his birth as 5/1842 and in the 1910 census, he was living with his son, Edward in Moorhead, MN and listed his age as 72 making his birth year, 1838. He died three years later. So I guess his birth was somewhere between 1837 and 1846. The 1900 census listed his occupation as grain and feed merchandise.
