The New York Times reported on April 10, 1909 that the will of William B. Isham, a retired leather merchant, who died at his home at 5 East 61st Street on March 23 and that of his daughter-in-law, Sarah Collins Isham, who died on September 4, were filed on April 9, 1909. The value of the real and personal estate left by Mr. Isham is said in the petition to be more than $10,000 in each case. He bequests to his wife, Julia B. Isham, his residence with its contents, and expresses a wish that his children Samuel and William B., and daughters Flora and Julia, shall have the privilege of living there.
