Note: William JACKSON was born about 1498 in Horbling, Lincolnshi*re, England. He died in MAY 1549 in Horbling, Lincolnshire*, England. WILLIAM JACKSON of Horbling, Lincolnshire, was p*robably born about 1490-1500. His wife Agnes was probably n*ee Pickworth, as William Jackson in his will referred to hi*s "brother" Richard Pickworth of Sleforth. William Jackso*n and one other made a list of the "harness of Horbling" wh*ich they took to Lincoln in 29 Henry VIII (1537/8). this wa*s the town armoury and locals were taxead towards its upkee*p. William Jackson paid 8 pence. William was an Alderman o*f Horbling in 1538 and 1540. He died in early May 1549 with*in a few days of making his will.
