WESLEY W. JARRETT
Wesley W. Jarrett, 69, of 825 Indiana Avenue, died Sunday at his home after a long illness.
He was employed by the Charleston fire department from 1911 to 1940. During the last ten years of his employment, he was assistant fire chief.
He was a member of Central Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Katherine Jarrett; two sons, Thornton of Charleston and William of Florida; a daughter, Mrs. Eugene Love of Charleston; two brothers, L. L. Jarrett of Cross Lanes and Herbert Jarrett of Charleston; three sisters, Mrs. W. G. Greenlee of Charleston, Mrs. J. A. Greenlee of Dunbar and Mrs. Granville E. Witt of Aiken, South Carolina; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

WESLEY W. JARRETT -- Service will be at 2 p.m. today in Central Methodist Church. Dr. W. S. Overstreet will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston.
